A Guide to Reading Batman: Part 2, More Batman Classics

Welcome to part 2 of my guide for new readers to get into Batman comics.
Today’s part will be shorter than the last, but we will be ending the section of the classics.
(These tales aren’t exactly that old, but it’s the more popular and older titles of our modern batman.)
If you haven’t read part one please go back and read part one of my guide.
Remember, this is my opinion and you do not have to follow this guide step by step, but it’s better if you do. (In my opinion.)
Hope you enjoy.

1. Batman: The Long Halloween by Jeph Loeb
The Long Halloween has a lot of content for your money. Gotham has a holiday killer and everyone wants to know who it is. (Even The Joker is interested to find out).
This mysterious detective tale is everything you want in a Batman story: a lot of batman villains and most importantly this shows the progression of Harvey Dent to the man he is known to be.
Oh and yea this book has Selina Kyle (Catwoman). Who wouldn’t be interested?
2. Batman: Dark Victory by The Same Guys Above
Dark Victory is the continuation of The Long Halloween. (I suppose you could read just Long Halloween and not this, but why would you do that to yourself?)
This story has the same setup as The Long Halloween, but the villains get together to do some pretty interesting mayhem for Batman to discover.
Dark Victory is also an origin story retold for Robin (Dick Grayson).
Robin Origin Story? Enough Said.
If you’re interested in what Catwoman does in between these stories. Check out Catwoman When In Rome by Jeph Loeb.
You can get any of these at your local comic shop, amazon, etc.
Thanks for reading. This wraps up my classic choices. Stay tune for part 3.
